While we do everything within our capabilities to minimize any mishaps, accidents can occasionally occur. As a licensed moving company, we provide complimentary cargo protection for our customers, as required by the California Public Utilities Commission. This basic coverage offers compensation of 60 cents per pound per damaged article. If you require additional coverage, we recommend researching external insurance vendors for comprehensive moving insurance options.

Please note that North Hollywood Movers does not offer coverage for items of exceptional value, such as small, expensive electronics (e.g., iPhones, iPods, iPads, cell phones, laptops, tablets), jewelry, cash, collectible memorabilia, and so forth. For these items, we advise arranging their transportation personally or informing the lead mover about each piece individually to ensure proper packaging. Please consult our "Terms and Conditions" section for specific coverage exclusions.

In the unfortunate event of damage caused by our negligence, we take will responsibility for our actions. If you notice any damage during the move, we kindly request that you report it to us as soon as possible so that we can promptly investigate the incident and work towards a resolution. A representative from North Hollywood Movers will assess the circumstances that led to the accident and, at our discretion, offer repair, replacement, or compensation for the damages.

Business Liability Insurance

Furthermore, it's important to mention that some high-end apartment complexes and many commercial offices require a certificate of business liability insurance. To obtain this certificate, we need to coordinate with our insurance vendor several days in advance of the actual move. The cost of the certificate of insurance is $100 per insured building.
